Our History

Established 1997

In 1997, the City of Crestview applied, and was approved, for a Main Street Program designation by the Secretary of State. In 1998, the City of Crestview hired a full time Main Street Program Director and assisted in the establishment of the Main Street Crestview Association, Inc. Today’s current program is embraced not only statewide but nationwide. To the community MSCA throws memorable events such as Triple B, Fall Festival, 4th of July Celebration & Party in the Park, as well as the Christmas Parade to name a few. MSCA is so much more than throwing events but strives to cultivate and enhance downtown redevelopment as well as join alongside partners to assist with grants, publicity, and growth. Membership consists of business owners, citizens, and other interested parties desiring to revitalize the downtown area.

Mission Statement

To maintain Crestview’s positive downtown image; promoting vibrant growth by strengthening and expanding the creation of an exciting place to live, shop, dine, play and invest; by improving and encouraging cooperative partnerships between downtown stakeholders for the benefit of the community and its downtown.

Vision Statement

Main Street, the heart of our community and the center of city and county government, will have an inviting appearance, highlighted by historic architecture, and will enhance the civic, cultural and local economic viability of the entire community – retail, restaurant, service, amusement, academic, arts and government.
